Annual Report 2010
In 2010, the association held six board meetings and the most important issues discussed were:
1) Collaboration with the University of Minnsota and the Vinland Center, Minnesota. Gunnar Tellnes visited Minnesota in March. Four representatives from the Vinland Center and University of Minnesota visited Norway in May 2010. See separate handout for a programme of their visit.
2) Cooperation with the NaKuHel Think Tank (Tankesmie) at Sem, Asker.
3) Strategic plans for strengthening the economy of the association
4) The establisment of the NaCuHeal International Board of Adivisors, headed by Mary Jo Kreitzer, and the election of Merete Larsmon as NaCuHeal International Project Manager.
5) The establishment of a Forum for Human Health and Forest in Norway in collaboration with Norwegian Forest Society.
6) Planning of the conference 12th October 2011 celebrating the anniversaries of the University of Oslo (200 years), Sunnaas Hospital (50 years) and Gruppe for trygdemedisin, UiO (20 years).
7) A proposal for a conference in fall 2012 combined with a celebration of 25 years with the NaCuHeal Concept.
8) Strategies and proposals for criteria for NaKuHel meeting places and settings have been discussed.
The annual meeting was held 27th May 2010 in Oslo, and the constitution of the association was adjusted with the election of the President taking place at the annual meeting, starting with the next annual meeting in 2011. In conjunction with the annual meeting, the association held a seminar welcomed by Lene Conradi, the Mayor of Asker, and talks were given by Tor Kr. Østeby, Kristin Bredal Berge, Mary Jo Kreitzer, Gunnar Tellnes and Tor Dahl.
